We share a common goal – to encourage Ukrainians to engage in physical activity and sports. “Active Parks” has joined forces with Side by Side!

This project organizes annual sports competitions among school students, where sports are combined with non-formal education and the development of teamwork skills.

School leagues serve as a stimulus for building a sports club within the school and provide students with opportunities to gain real knowledge and professional skills in different fields.

To take part in the competitions, schools form teams in five sports: basketball, volleyball, futsal, orienteering, and cheerleading. Participants compete at five different levels: school, community, district, regional, and national.
