“Active Country” is a large-scale national project that brought together sport, entertainment, and healthy living at the VDNG grounds in Kyiv.
The project became a true celebration of sport, where everyone could discover new opportunities for an acTIve lifestyle.

“ACTIVE COUNTRY” united dozens of sports for both children and adults. Visitors tested their skills on a 44-meter obstacle course, in functional fitness zones, at the largest open-air Cycle training session, as well as in badminton, floorball, rugby-5, disc golf, ultimate, and panna football.
Highlights included dance battles and Dance Fest with over 1,000 participants, celebrity matches and tournaments in football and basketball, and competitions in the skatepark — BMX, skateboarding, rollerblading, and scooters.
The project also featured adaptive activities for veterans, an inclusive children’s zone, and the “akTYvni” Country Camp. In addition, round tables were held on the development of adaptive sports and grassroots football in Ukraine, giving the event strategic importance for the sports community.
