European Week of Sport
The European Week of Sport in Ukraine this year took place from 20 to 29 September under the slogan “Ukraine is Europe”.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the state institution Sport for All, and the Presidential Program Active Parks, in partnership with the National Olympic Committee.
This annual initiative aims to increase the level of physical activity among the population of Europe, including Ukraine. For Ukrainians, the event gained even greater importance in times of war, when physical activity helps not only to strengthen health but also to support psychological resilience.

The event is aimed at involving people of all ages and fitness levels in sports and physical activities that can become part of their daily lives. Importantly, during the European Week of Sport, Ukrainians had the opportunity to try different types of sports, including non-Olympic ones, thus discovering new opportunities for a healthy lifestyle.
The importance of such events also lies in promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, which has a major impact on the future of society, since a healthy generation is a strong generation capable of change.
